“Deconstruction Theory” oil on canvas, 20″ x 20″ [August 2010]
This is a 20″ x 20″ oil on canvas painting of the end of the world. It is an album cover for the DJ, Solarstatik. The setting is in downtown Milwaukee, WI. There are natural disasters as well as man-made disasters, which bring about the end of the world. I decided to stick to a limited color palette because I wanted to convey the chaos and destruction in a simple manner for an album cover.

This is another commission. The client wanted me to paint her daughter and use the patterns and colors from her bedding. The client was remodeling her daughter’s bedroom and wanted a piece of art that would fit in her room. Her daughter, Keira, likes to paint her nails and read books, so I incorporated both.

I’ve been commissioned to make buttons for Anime Milwaukee 2011. These are my designs for the Maid Café. They are all watercolor and ink images of “chibi” maids and desserts. (I’m posting this on here to show my variation in styles of art. I can do more traditional art and also more illustrative. I like to experiment with everything).
