the gold leaf coming from the skeleton’s eyes represents everything we perceive/believe to be true/real. how would we react if something we understood to be true was sucked away into oblivion, proven false/non-existent??? In my opinion, arguing about, but without fully understanding, the differences in religion and our perceptions of reality is more futile than debating whether that girl’s blouse is a “navy” or “prussian” blue.
